Homicides can be committed by shooting, stabbing or beating another person to death. These violent actions can result in tissue, blood and body fluids being spattered or cast off onto ceilings, walls, floors, and furnishings in the immediate and surrounding areas.
Homicide cases have different characteristics than a suicide and could have multiple victims and would also include murder/suicides. A crime scene may be held for several days during the police investigation, which delays the cleanup process. Cross contamination and finger print dust residue are typical adverse results following the release of the scene. We give special attention to detail when cleaning a murder scene because even though investigating departments strive to be very thorough, sometimes evidence has been missed.
